Went to Dorney Park & Wild Water Kingdom yesterday and had a great time. We had 37 people and the rain didn't stop the fun. We arrived at the park before it opened and were the first ones in line for many of the best rides. There weren't many people there because of the forecast, so we had the run of the place. By 1PM we had gone on all the coasters at least twice and several other rides as well. The rain didn't pick up until after 1. We spent the rest of the afternoon riding all the other rides that were undercover. At 4 PM we had our fill and decided to head home.
We could have decided to cancel, and some might have preferred that, but we went and laughed and splashed, got a little sick (Too many rides with no waiting in between) and had a great time in general. There are occasions when conditions don't always cooperate, but as one of the teens put it so perfectly, "Sometimes, it's not where you go or what you do, but who you are with that counts the most."
We have a great group of teens and parents and yesterday we had fun together.
