Off to Madrid and Lisbon

Well, here I am last June in Hong Kong. I had a few days of visiting with a missionary friend before heading to the Philippines for ministry at the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary in Bagiou City.

Tonight I am traveling to Madrid for 5 days and then 3 days in Lisbon with my best friend and sweetheart, my dear wife, Cathy.

We are ready for the break. Our son Michael just married his high school/ college sweetheart Jenni this past Saturday. And only two weeks after their college graduation. It has been busy. Those two are cruising the Caribbean and the Bahamas on their honeymoon. Then they have the big move to Tulsa where they will both start new jobs. Pastor P

Philemon 3

The first day for our blog.

In case you did not know or remember-Onesimus was a runaway slave whom the Apostle Paul tried to reconcile to his former owner-Philemon.

More than anything we want to be slaves of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And so our greeting to you is from Philemon 1:3

PHM 1:3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is our desire that this blog site will be a place of grace and peace for all who stop by. We want it to be a place of constructive dialogue and sharing. In fact, I suppose that none of us knows yet what this blog will become. Check it out often and get connected. By the way, the name Onesimus means "useful or profitable". We hope to fulfill our purpose in this name.
